Dr. Jessica Rich is a Research Assistant Professor in Virginia Tech’s Center for Coastal Studies. She serves as Co-PI and lead social scientist with the Greenland Hazards Project, which is funded through the National Science Foundation to monitor geophysical change along the western coast of Kalaallit Nunaat/Greenland. Her research draws from communication and critical-cultural studies to explore eco-social relations and the implications associated with environmental change for people working and living in frontline communities.

The former Virginia Coastal Policy Center at the William & Mary Law School participated in this partnership from 2015 until June 2023.
